Starting April 9, senior citizens will receive special rates on wide-screen films, gallery and planetarium admission during Senior Days at the Clay Center, which will take place from noon to 5 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month.
Prices for people ages 55 and up will be $4 for gallery admission, $2 for planetarium shows and $3 for film admission.
Seniors also will receive a 15 percent discount on gift shop items on Senior Days.
During these days, seniors can attend free lunchtime lectures on topics which in the past have covered cultural history, health and fitness and wildflowers and nature. Lectures begin at 12:15 p.m., and guests can come early or stay after to eat lunch — not free — at the Intermezzo Café. Call 561-3536 or visit www.theclaycenter.org.
In another offer for seniors, groups of 10 or more also receive discounted prices as low as $9 per person to some Clay Center performances.
