Fun with "SoaP"

The cultural phenomenon that is Snakes on a Plane finally hits theaters on Friday. Ever since it was revealed that Samuel L. Jackson took the project based on the title alone (he threatened to walk when they tried to change it), buzz surrounding the movie took off. There are SoaP t-shirts, books, a soundtrack and music video, even a board game.

To celebrate this surefire cult classic, we at the Gazz (as well as at other sites all over the Internet) have come up with our own Snakes on a Plane fun, creating titles for the sequel...

On the loose in Miami: Snakes on Cocaine
Snake suicide bombers: Snakes Die in Vain
A tragi-comic tale: Snakes Laugh Through the Pain
Terror in the frat house: Snakes Drunk on Grain
Loose in the loony bin: Snakes Go Insane
Horrors in higher education: Snakes at Tulane
Mayhem in the schoolyard: Snakes Scare Dick and Jane
An interspecies love triangle: Snakes and a Great Dane
Vegetarian snakes: Snakes Eat Romaine
A plumber's nightmare: Snakes Clog the Drain
Up against the Russian Mafia: Snakes in Ukraine
Shot down over Vietnam: Snakes with McCain
Bush's top-secret back-up plan: Snakes Kill Hussein
New technology in the workplace: Snakes Must Retrain
On the lookout for lobsters: Snakes Go to Maine
Snakes in the midwest: Snakes on the Plain
International vacation: Snakes in Brisbane
The real story of the Nirvana: Snakes and Kurt Cobain
With Kirsten Dunst and Spider-Man: Snakes in the Rain
The new airline security warning: Snakes Will Detain
Die Hard IV: Snakes and John McClane

Of course, not all of the sequels have to rhyme or even have something to do with snakes. The message boards at IMDB abound with suggestions like...
Lemurs on a Winnebago
Badgers on a Hovercraft (This one's from MSNBC)
Porcupines with Rabies
Jellyfish on a Conveyor Belt
Bunnies in a Condo
Marmosets on a Train
and
Snakes on a Plane II: Asps on Air Force One

Think you've got a good one? To steal from Cobra Starship's song for the movie: Snakes on a Plane -- Bring it.
