Downtown Detail: Look, up in the sky...

You may know the name of this shape from high school geometry class, but where exactly is it standing and what are we looking at in downtown Charleston?
A reception for all the photos on the "It's All in the Details" exhibit (from which this photo comes) takes place at Taylor's during the Thursday, July 13 ArtWalk downtown from 5 to 8 p.m. For more information, call 342-1461.

From another angle I think you could line it up so you could see the "Captain of Charleston" window through the opening.
Looks like a good place to pick up some stamps, eyeball the old Stone and Thomas building, and watch people windowshop Prada. ;)
