SculptureScape: Son of Stonehenge

I do not know the name of the sculptor of this mammoth work, located on a side plaza of the Charleston Civic Center. But I do have two opinions about it. What a terrible place to put it! There is almost never an occasion to encounter it up close because there is little reason to walk where they put it. Second, I rather like the sculpture. It looks like Stonehenge's little brother or infant offspring. But it needs to be on a grassy knoll or in a field, where the hard, unyielding surfaces of stone and steel are muted by Nature's contrast. On this unforgiving plain of concrete, it looks scary and unlovely, like the framework to an abandoned U-Store-It building. I vote we move it to the ground of the state Capitol Complex, which could use some contemporary artwork.
