In grander cities, say Paree and NYC, one can spend an entire afternoon enjoying a free form of aesthetic nourishment: espying intriguing, tres beau window installations and displays. In Charleston, the window pickings are, how do you say, slim. So it was with pleasure one encounters this display in the window of Walker's Fine Flower Shop at 219 Hale St. The Walker window is always lush with living things, but this perhaps by now deceased couple are caught in the full flower of their matrimonial finery from some era long past. Flapper-ish wedding outfit, no?
