As we are in a hissy mood because we did not sleep all that well last night, let us finally offer our -- how do you say? -- hissy diss of the Sun Trust logo atop the otherwise lovely Kanawha Valley Building. This is gilding the lily. It is a rather unspectacular logo, but that's no crime. Yet it devolves into banality and offense atop the building because, by comparison, it can't compete with the structure's grace and interrupts it. Could someone please climb up there and cover it with a brick-colored sheet, s'il vous plais? Merci. And, no, it's not just because we are REM-deprived.
