BuildingScape: Taking Shelter

Where do you go for shelter from the storm? If it's not shelter from "a world of steel-eyed death, and men who are fighting to be warm...", but a mere downpour on a Wednesday morning, the shuttered Quarrier Diner front stoop downtown will do. Here and here is the Diner, one of downtown's sweetest-looking shopfronts, in drier weather.
