The grapevine whispers that the people at Taylor Books and thegazz.com are planning a new webcam to allow one to view the exterior of Taylor's, looking along Capitol Street, 24/7 as they say (well, at 3 a.m., the view should only be of alleycats and taggers trying to look nondescript as they hide their spraypaint). No word on when it goes live, but that will be a nice thing. There is a similar kind of webcam outside Porters English Restaurant in downtown London. There is some kind of scaffolding up at the moment, but you get the idea... (Or not-- you realize, of course, it'll be nighttime in London if you follow the link after, say, 3 p.m., with the five-hour time difference. Then, you'll just see a black splotch.)
