Out-of-towners who've enjoyed the Delish restaurant's pretty delish menu on McFarland Street between Virginia and Quarrier on past visits may not know the place is closed down for the moment. And half of it is burned down. Some wanker living illegally on the second floor of the building adjacent to the main restaurant got up in the night, used a lighter to find his way in the dark and ended up torching the place. The bottom floor housed the sandwich wrap portion of Delish and so it and everything in that building was a goner. They bulldozed the place to the ground a few weeks back after the burned building had a seizure and partially collapsed. Here's where it used to be. Delish? Still closed. What's a person to do who needs a satay fix downtown?
